Chapter IReasonable hesitations
You're not "behind."
You're right on time.
Your only competition is the person you were yesterday. Here are the questions I hear most.
- What's your training philosophy?
- Wellness isn't one-size-fits-all. Every plan I write starts from your body, your history, and your real schedule — not a template. The goal isn't to look like somebody else; it's to feel capable in the life you already live.
- Do you work with clients with injuries or medical conditions?
- Yes — gladly. With a kinesiology degree and three years as a physical therapy technician, this is the work I love most. We listen to your body, not push it. Bring your PT notes, your surgical reports, the joint that complains. We'll build around all of it.
- How often should I train?
- Two to three sessions a week is the sweet spot for most people. We'll calibrate to the time you actually own — consistency beats intensity, every time.
- Do you offer online training?
- Yes. The Family Plan is a fully-online coaching relationship for clients whose lives don't sit still. Custom monthly programs, check-in calls every other week, form videos in between.
- What's your cancellation policy?
- Life happens. 24-hour notice is appreciated; same-day cancellations get rescheduled when there's room. No fees, no guilt — just a quick text and we'll move you.
- I'm intimidated and don't know where to start.
- You're not behind — you're right on time. The hard part is reading this far. Start with a phone call: no commitment, no upsell, no plan handed to you on the call. Just a conversation about whether we'd work well together.
- I've failed at this before.
- You almost certainly didn't fail. A plan that didn't fit your life didn't hold — that's a plan problem, not a you problem. Let's write one that actually does fit.
- What if I've never trained before?
- Then we start on the ground floor and you're in exactly the right place. Everything is coached, every rep. There's no assumed vocabulary, no assumed baseline, and no test to pass before the plan gets useful.
- What if I can't come in every week?
- Then the Family Plan is built for you. Fully-online coaching, custom monthly programs, check-in calls every other week, and form videos back and forth. Same coach, same standards, none of the drive.
